Meet Dr. Melissa Oropeza

Hello, my name is Dr. Melissa Oropeza, and I have had the honor of serving as your State Representative for District 37 for the past two terms. I am asking for your support and vote for a third term because there is still important work to do on behalf of our community and all of Kansans.

Throughout my time in the Kansas Legislature, I have worked hard to represent the interests of every constituent in our district while keeping the well-being of the entire state in mind. This past term, I served on several committees and held a leadership role as the Ranking Minority Member on the Social Services Budget Committee, where I advocated for responsible investments in programs and services that support Kansas families.

I remain committed to working collaboratively with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find practical solutions and ensure that Kansans have access to the opportunities, resources, and support they need to thrive. It would be a privilege to continue serving you and fighting for the issues that matter most to our community.
